Fresh Coat Friday!

Thanks so much for stopping by for another installment in our Fresh Coat Friday parties! I am hoping to set up a section that rounds up all the previous posts for everyone to reference back to soon, so check out for that. And I have also added a couple new links to our Renovations link for the family room and living room... and hope to add the laundry in the next week or two!
I also want to remind everyone that you do not need to have a blog to participate in fresh coat friday, just email the photos and any details you want to share and I will include it in the next week's post! Of course, a huge thanks goes out to all our returning contributors as well as the lovely new ladies who took the time to say hello and share with us all!!!

Jennifer transformed this $30 cabinet into a humidor for her boyfriend (great way to convince the guys to let us buy more furniture Jennifer!!) and I think it turned out perfectly! Jennifer is new to painting furniture and another one of her first items was a cute round side table, but based on these 2 pieces I think Jennifer has already established herself as an old pro.

This hutch was a 7 month labor of love for Melanie and her husband, but it was worth the wait! With new hardware, removing the upper railings and the original dark beadboard back all of their beautiful dishes just POP. I never would have thought of that, but it is amazing. And those tiny drawers are soooo neat!

Janice never ceases to make me smile with her tranformation play by plays. Not only is her newly painted chandelier fabulous in her full-room closet (jeaaalous!), but it made me giggle. Great bulb choice!!

Emma picked up this darling shelve for *dun dun duh* FREE! It was a "gift with purchase" at garage sale, and she have great plans for it. Adding some wallpaper to give it some character and a coat of paint did a world of good~

Megan and Heather scored this old tv console (which we have all seen a million times, but never thought to save) on craigslist and did the sweetest, most playful makeover! I love the white and fresh green together, I am sure it makes you smile everytime you glance over at it~

I think I need to hire Shaunna to come over to our house. This was her bathroom in April, and then her bathroom now (and I have basically patched a couple holes in the wall in that same time span...). Yup, I'm moving in!

Isn't Kathleen's desk makeover insane? I think she might have stumbled onto the perfect shade of red... not too bright but not too dark. I love it!

I missed this transformation last week, but definitely had to share! Shaunna was asked to take this buffet and give a whole new look... and did she ever. What a wonderful piece of furniture this was, but now it is simply dreamy.

Sandy always share absolute gems and this week is no different! I am infatuated with this cabinet!

Now I know you have been out and playing with paint as well, so let's see what you've been up to!!!

I linked up! Thanks for hosting such a fun party! That Gardener's hutch is fantastic. I've bookmarked it for reference b/c I've got a hutch staring at me right now that is almost identical. If I can only convince the mother-in-law who passed it down to me that it was destined to be painted white...

First time participating, but will definitely be playing along more. I LOVE to repaint furniture, and am hoping to start up a local biz just as yours...finding forlorn pieces and prettifying them again for new families.
