We Love Our Sponsors!!

I have to send a BIG thank you to all our wonderful sponsors!!!!!!!

It is a lot of work, time and dedication to run a blog and every little bit helps. I am especially appreciative because nearly all our sponsors are fellow Moms, bloggers and small business owners. It's all about showing some love and I have a lot of it for these ladies. Be sure to check out all their wonderful shops and blogs, I promise you won't be disappointed!

If you are interested in gaining exposure for your small business or blog I am taking August/September sponsors. I have more than 10,000 subscribers, 4200+ friends (aka followers), and over 9,000 visitors per day on my little blog. I love seeing women succeed (and guys too!) so the following pricing is ONLY open to small businesses/bloggers.

If you are interested in being a sponsor I've streamlined it this month by setting up a paypal checkout, simply include your html code in the 'notes to seller' and it will be live within 48 hours of checkout. If you have any additional questions or want help with our link/image feel free to give me a shout at inthefunlane@gmail.com

I'm so excited and honored to be a sponsor! I just wanted to tell you that 3 years ago I was sitting in the hospital on monitored bed rest while pregnant with my twins. I occupied my long wait there with two things: 1. learning to crochet - I crocheted both my babies a blanket, neither of which are an identifiable shape LOL, (they were prematurely born at 34 weeks weighing around 4lbs each), and 2. Soaking up your blog and all of the valuable information you share. At the time there was no pinterest, (was there???), so I saved a word document on my computer with lists of supplies that you talked about, techniques, colors, all that good stuff. My twins were born and I started to collect my supplies and first pieces to refinish. Then, to our utter SHOCK, we found out we were expecting again when our twins were 8 months. We moved to a house with more space and I got to work refinishing all that I could and after our son was born I felt like an unleashed crazy woman finally able to start what I'd been wanting to start for almost 2 years. Now, I work between the hours of 1:30-4, while my babes nap, and some early mornings if I'm almost at the end of a job and can't wait to jump out of bed to put finishing touches on. It was never my dream to be a stay at home Mom. But, my babes are the best gifts I never knew i wanted and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else than with them at this stage of their lives. That being said, it is absolutely necessary for me, personally, to have an outlet that has nothing to do with being a mom. Working on furniture is soothing, relaxing, and makes me feel so rounded. I love that my kids see me enjoying a kind of work that is so fun, creative, physical and satisfying, and I hope they find that something for themselves someday.:)So, a huge thanks to you for inspiring me in such a profound way.

Chelsea, that is the sweetest comment I've read in recent memory. THANK you for taking the time to write such thoughtful words (I am sure time is at a premium in your house with so many little people!). enjoy your new found freedom with the paintbrush!!
