Blue blue blue

Well, it's the last day of Blueberry week. I am kind of helter skelter this week so let's just follow my train of thought as it derails, shall we?

I have an Instagram obsession with Audrey Kitching, she is beyond cool and seems to have a lot of fun amidst her hectic life. And her hair changes daily. If I could wake up just once a year and have her bad hair day hair I would be blissful. If anyone makes pink hair look cute and classy it's this girl!

Thanks to Audrey I have fallen in love with rainbow hued hair. Not candy colored Katy Perry hair, but romantic, ombre locks.

If I were ever brave enough to even consider trying them I would hope they would look like this.

Wouldn't it be awesome to have the freedom to do that? My issue is I would be sick and tired of it in about a week and need someone to fix it back to normal for me.

So I'll stick to painting things that I don't have to wear on my head indefinitely.
I have done more than my share of blue painted furniture, and I will do many more in the future considering it is my favorite color (white is not a color guys!) but here are a few gems I've seen floating around the internet (sadly most are uncredited so let me know if you know their origin!)

Thanks so much for playing along with me for our Blueberry Week!!!

{ Have a safe and fun weekend }

i've been wanting to dye the tips of my hair blue too but just haven't been bold enough to do it yet! why not try semi permanent dye from places like hot topic?

I love the little side-table. I have a similar (blue) table in my kitchen that was left in our house when we bought it! It was a very nice surprise to walk into.

here's a super temporary rainbow colored hair idea (that wren would probably like trying too!):

I love blue furniture! As for the hair, you CAN do the colored ombre locks for just a few days. It's called chalking, look it up on pinterest for some good tutorials.

Love the furniture inspiration pics! The pops of blue in otherwise neutral rooms are gorgeous!

I LOve that you dream of doing the bold hair too - I feel the same way. I am trying to get my hair to grow out after my first attempt at something different - FAIL, cutting it short only made me look 10 years older. Once it is bra length again, I am going to have a very serious discussion with my stylist about what we can do to really change it up with the color. I want to be youthful (I'm only 25, but a new mom so I think I look older now) and bold and wild and awesome! Thank you for validating me so I don't feel like I'm the only one who fantasizes about wildly different hair.

You can always use chalk on your hair - temporary, still super fun, and you can change colors :)
