Today is the kick off to the Canada Day long weekend! I have garage sales to scope out, a lingerie bachelorette party to dance the night away at and of course lots of BBQing and fireworks thrown in the mix.
If any of these treats show up on my adventures I will be mighty excited. I doubt they will so maybe I'll whip up some of my own.

While we are enjoying this perfect summer weekend I want to remind everyone down in Southern Alberta that we are still thinking about them. That there is hopefully some silver lining to all this destruction.

Happy Canada Day weekend to you, too! Now you've got me craving pancakes and maple syrup.
My thoughts are with our fellow Canadians in Alberta. Not a very happy Canada Day for many Albertans, I fear.
