Today was a lovely, sunny day and Wren enjoyed it in true Summer style. We went on a walk to get some groceries and she was excited to meet our neighbor's Poodle, Crush, but the highlight was when her grandma came over and surprised her with her very first parasol. Now she can avoid the sun in style!

She is just a doll baby with such a lovely milky white complexion. My son has that too. Got it from dear old mom. Seriously, I slather on the sunscreen!

On another note, I was wondering if you would maybe address the question of how you keep your house so clean and spotless with all white furniture/upholstery. Especially with a baby (and a dog, if I'm not mistaken). After having a baby who has spit up on everything I can safely say that white is such a scary color to even consider. Do you ever worry about your daughter someday spilling red juicy fruit on your white slip-covered couch? Do you have special cleaners? I love the look of white but it's quite intimidating!

You have one sweet baby girl!!! And I am so envious of your handiwork with the frames! Looks great!!!

OH---and I'm sure you will answer Molly's question, but I had to add my ten cents. :0) As a dog mom to two, an aunt to 8, and a wife to a pretty messy man, and a mom to be---I love my white slip covered furniture. Just rip it off-wash it-add some shout or bleach if necessary. For bigger items like my oversized chairs, I have to take them to a commercial wash or have the cleaners do it. I also bought an extra slipcover (cost around $30) from Ikea when I purchased my chairs. My other light colored items (duvet covers, kitchen chairs etc.) are all washable as well. Now if you go with an upholstered sofa that is white (no washable covers)---you may regret that! Just from my own experience. :0)

How precious she is! I was also wondering the same thing as Molly and wondering how you keep things clean with all the white upholstery? Anyway, your daughter is so sweet!
