1 is My luckiest number

I seem to be averaging 1 outfit post per week. I am not a super, fashion crazed lady so let me know if even that is 1 too many LOL. You asked, and I like to give you what you want... but I know all about the old saying of be careful what you ask for.

One of my favorite designers is Rachel Pally. I think I bought everything she made while I was pregnant because it is all so forgiving and comfy, and since it isn't maternity I have gotten use out of everything since Wren was born. I actually had the pleasure of briefly meeting her at one of her sample sales and it was pretty inspiring to meet someone doing what they love. I envied her that she was so young and successful and making her dreams come true. Turns out anyone can do it, you just have to be willing to work hard, harder than you imagined, but it doesn't feel like work so in the end it pays off!

Back to the topic though, my other staple (as you can see from 3 out of 4 clothing related posts) is leggings. This pair by Theory are the ultimate in comfort, although not so warm.

Speaking of numbers (or maybe we weren't, but let's shall we?)... do you have a lucky number? I used to always think I didn't have one, or didn't believe in them, or both. But as soon as Wren was born I knew I had a lucky number and it is 1. I am one of those people who don't believe in a lot of coincidences, and I am also a person who occassionally wakes up at 1 in the morning and spends hours analyzing strange things.

Why is 1 my lucky number? Well, I actually think any number with all 1's or 0's or any combination of them is pretty lucky for me.

For instance:
-Wren's birthday is the 19th and 1 and 9 equal 10. 1 and 0 equal 1.
-She was supposed to be born on the 19th day of the first month of 2009 (2+0+0+9=11), but instead she was born in 2008 which adds also up to 10.
-She was born at 10:01
-She was 5 lbs, 5 oz (5+5=10, 1+0=1)
-Our address adds up to 10.

I have a few others but I will save you the boring math (I know you are wondering who takes the time to add these things up, right?).
But I am really happy I finally have a lucky number, and her name is Wren.

And if your name is Eryn, then your lucky number today is 2~

Love this post and how you came up with your lucky number. I am going to have to think about that for my lucky number, there must be one that I can do that makes sense. I wear leggings when ever I can, as I get older I notice it holds in and hides a lot but still looks stylish. Not as styling as the way they look on you of course!

You know, I think regardless the medium- you have great style whether it's interior decorating, furniture design, or clothes! You seem to know how to pull all the right stuff together for the perfect outfits. And this look is super cute :) I personally really like seeing these posts- great fashion inspiration. (I especially like your hair-do here, so this is another one that would be fun to see a little hair tutorial on). Having no sisters & mostly guy friends, I'll look for pretty hair help wherever I can get it!
Your numerology thing was really cool. When I was little I decided my lucky # should be 7 after counting the # of letters in my first name. Then I got a little older and figured out it's kind of known for being lucky anyway! And as a Christian, it appears that biblically God himself is pretty fond of that one too. Happy Week, Holly; thanks for the fun Post!

I love that now young girls wear regular clothes as matrnity clothes. It my birthing years (81, 83, 85, 87) we triend to cover up that belly instead of celebrating it.
