White Bedding

Usually I just enjoy window shopping and seeing where the tide takes us when it comes to vacations. But there is one absolute must acquire item I am on the hunt for this time:
A new set of sheets and a new duvet.

And because you are all mind readers, I am sure you already know what color it will be!

If I can find anything half as glamorous as the bedding in these rooms I will be sleeping like a baby for years to come.

White bedding and towels are absolute must haves in our house. What are the must haves in your home?

Hi Holly...they are beautiful....try Homesense...and Winners but you have to go often as they have a huge turnover of product. My friends bed looks like those beds...so pretty. Good luck with the search!

Hi! I gather you are drawn to the more romantic styles, but have you tried West Elm? I've seen some pretty great looking white duvets in their stores and online. Hope you find something great!!

You certainly like white! The beds look great and very inviting. Most of the rooms and beds are great, but I think I think some of them need a bit more color, maybe buy adding some suitable pillows, or some appropriate wall decals where the walls are white as well.

Thanks for sharing!

Hey, I'm an avid reader of your blog, and I vaguely remember you posting about some GORGEOUS fabric that you found at a super price 0 around 17.99 a yard.
If I remember correctly, and you were the one who posted this, will you send me the link to the fabric site?

Thanks so much! littlelizardking@gmail.com

What lovely, romantic bedrooms!! Makes me what to start all over and go white and dreamy. Altho, I also do like a couple of yours that surprise onlookers with colorful wall accents!

Hey Holly!
I completely agree, white bedding and towels are a must. They are timeless, and always fresh and welcoming! That last image is from this place: www.cottagechicstore.com, I have them as a source on my blog because I totally love their bedding! Its gorgeous, maybe you can find something you like there!

I love white sheets and towels! I just bought a new set of white sheets at target. I was going to get the shabby chic comforter. We just have a white duvet now. You have shabby chic right now, right? Are you just buying another to switch it out or do you not really like your set now?btw, I usually can't get your blog to work when I am on the touch ever since you got a new layout, but it seems to be ok today. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

The last photo in the group gives the impression of sleeping in the clouds -- so light and airy. Good luck with your hunt.

Those white bedrooms....wowsa! Is that a cradle hanging from the ceiling? Must haves? Monograms, framed family photos and plenty of chairs. Those are my top three. They might change tomorrow though. :) Lisa~

check out West Elm! They've got some cute stuff for not too expensive. AND as for sheets - bamboo are awesome! I got some and they are my favorite. for some reason in the wash, you think, hmm, these aren't THAT soft, then you get them out of the dryer and put them on the bed...it's crazy weird - they are AWESOME!!!

omg we have all white bedding and towels in our house too! love it! xoxo

We have white bedding also. I like to go with all shades of marshmallow and caramel. Delicious! We share the bed with a 70 pound sheepdog, so it has to be washable!

I love the look of white bedding, but my golden retriever loves to keep me company at night & while I clean her paws when she comes inside, animals are messy and it would make the white very dirty. I use all white sheets and comforter with a quilt over it. That way, I bleach the sheets and wash the quilt. Having said that, if I were dog free, I would go w/ white. The easy solution: don't let me dog sleep on my bed, but as a single lady, I like having her there with me!

I have to have white crisp sheets, don't like those soft ones at all!

Ahhhh white bedding. so fresh and clean looking. I had looked around for a plain white duvet cover and I finally ended up finding one at IKEA. It was the cheapest one they had, like 20$. I have loved it! Then its easy to dress up with the pillows and whatever else. Good luck!

We have white bedding as well. It's nice, b/c when moods or seasons change, I can change out the sheets and pillow coverings, add a throw, and the white duvet still looks crisp with whatever I put against it.

I have to admit, I just took our duvet cover (dark silver) off the other day to wash it....and I still have the white down comforter on my bed...without the duvet. It's so fresh and pretty! Love the pictures! Very feminine and crisp...love it. :)

LOVE the last picture. I agree with a previous poster....bamboo linens are to DIE for! They are a little pricey, but they are worth the pretty penny! Our house is full of family photos in brown wooden frames, quote inspirations, sage candles, and lovely blankets!

I agree. We have white towels, and I'm looking to take the plunge with a white duvet, but I'm a little worried about white with our dog. Why are duvets so expensive compared to comforters? I've seen some white ones on Overstock with good prices and good reviews, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

We have white bedding and towels, too! At first I thought it would surely be a disaster but now I love them!

I gave in and re-did our master bedroom with all white sheets, pillows, blankets, duvet, etc. and we LOVE IT! With our four-poster Charleston Rice bed it looks very high-end and is SOO comfy, like sleeping in clouds. Can't wait for you to enjoy the same! Happy hunting! *Amy

So I went and bought a white comforter earlier this year & I have washed it in the washing machine but my kids recently spilled chocolate milk on it- AH! Can I just put it in the bathtub with detergent and bleach to soak it and get the stains out? FYI the Homegoods in Houston, TX just got in a new batch of white linens, pillows from Cynthia Rowley (they are gorgeous!) and coverlets!

holly! we went down to NYC this weekend and stumbled upon rachel ashwell's store! I had to go in, and it was absolutely gorgeous. I left, wanting to purchase yards and yards of natural linen to make slipcovers for everything!

thought of you and knew it was something that will tickle your fancy! ;)

I am on the same mission. I have been taking my time because I can't decide if I what to go with ruffles or more clean lines. I love the look and you can add any color accent pillow and it can alter the look whenever you are in the mood for a change.
