Hello Friends! We have had a very busy week but Wren and I ended it by going out of town today to visit my Grandparents. My poor grandma has had a rough couple of weeks due to serious arthritis that has been close to unbearable and my grandpa has had to single handedly hold down the fort with all the cooking and cleaning. So we brought out some lunch and spent the afternoon giving them both a little break. Not only was it nice to see them, but my grandpa had scoped out a crazy old man who has a gagillion antiques just piled up in a shed. He took me on a nice drive to check them out and I am counting down the days until we go back with our truck!

But now that we are back home I am looking forward to sharing an old drop leaf table I picked up a month ago that is now Sean's nightstand. I will probably have time to snap some pictures tomorrow.... but here are just a few beauties that are similar to give you a little sample until then.

It's wonderful to spend time with grandparents. I'm sure they loved seeing Wren (and you too! ; )

Giving time to YOUR grandparents is invaluable. I wish I still had my grandparents and that Wren was with you....beautiful. Can't wait to see what you have come up with. And that magical shed, oh what it must hold. When will you share the treasures?

I can't wait to see it because I have one of these tables and I want to see what it looks like as a bedside table!!!

I love the idea of having a drop leaf table as a bed side table...would be great in a guest room in case someone needs a place to put their lap top....:)

Hi Holly,

I love that your grandpa 'treasure hunts' for you. I bet they are such a sweet couple. There isn't much cuter than watching grandpas and grandmas in love.

Can't wait to see how the table turned out.

Take care

Ohh, I just ralized I was confused awhile back when you mentioned Wren getting a passport to visit grandparents and then being at the airport a few days later, I was shocked that you only needed a few days to get a passport, but I just figured out what you meant and that you weren't flying that soon after, just picking them up. Not that it mattered, I just felt silly having made that comment on an earlier post, and didn't want to sound foolish- oops!

Anyway, glad you're getting to enjoy quality family time now, and hope your new treasures serve you well!
