Our Wedding Day

We were married in October 2007 on a warm, sunny, California day! My parent's have a home in Palm Desert where they spend some of the Winter and which also happened to be where Sean and I had the pleasure to live for the 4 years we went to University. Since we had so many wonderful memories there we chose to hold both the ceremony and reception at the house. They were sweet enough to move almost all the furniture out so we could transform the patio into a "tent" and the living and dining rooms into a sundae bar, coctail bar and reception area. We had incredible planners, florists, caterers and musicians that did an amazing job of creating the best day we could imagine!

Of course the colors we chose were primarily shades of white!

Our First Home

This was our first home. It was a brand new, builder basic 2 story, but it was perfect for a first time home owner. Looking back we were a little crazy because I bought it while I was actually in my final semester of University at Cal State. I knew the market was getting pretty expensive and basically every house for sale had multiple offers on it so I had to act fast when one popped up. My mom actually found it in the newspaper classifieds, took a quick peek at it and I bought it sight unseen directly from the seller. We're definitely not brave enough to try that again. My very first time seeing the house was the day I moved in.


This house was much smaller and it felt a little more cottage-y, so we rolled with that.
