I am so excited to share today's giveaway with you! The amazing folks over at SmartBuyGlasses.ca offered me up a pair of new sunglasses for this Spring. There are definitely perks to blogging, and offers of free stuff from time to time is up near the top of the list of those perks. For some reason I always feel slightly 'fake' when I consider the offers and don't have something equally as awesome to also share with you, so in those cases I prefer to either just pass up the offer or pass it straight on to you like I am doing today. Trust, this will never be a blog where everything is C/O (unless Rebecca Taylor or Gucci start knocking on my door. You've been warned!). Ok, enough about me... let's take a look at what the fuss is about.

One of my most consistent style staples since, well, forever, has been aviators. Thank goodness they have been in style again the past few years because I took a lot of flack from the Mr. and many others for years over my 'Top Gun'-style glasses. So in the interests of protecting your eyes, and making you look freaking fabulous I settled on a pair of RayBan's.

Glittered Laundry Pins for Wren's Valentine's

So I don't think this is a project you will want to do on laundry pins you still use on laundry, because I will confess that this glitter is a pest. That is probably the nicest thing I can say about the fact that it is just hangs around and sticks to everything... countless vacuumings and wipe downs later. Glamorous laundry isn't ready for these babies.

But super cute Valentine's or little gifts are ready! I found this chunky glitter at De Serres for $3.95 and picked up the laundry pins for $1.99 (for a pack of 50) at Target to glam up Wren's Valentine's.

 

I glued, Wren glittered and it was a fun little afternoon.

A little stamp with a happy message on the pins and we left them to dry over night. Paired with a goodie bag (bag of 12 from the $1 section in Target) we then spent a couple days assembling Wren's Valentine's. 

 

This is the first year Wren printed all her own class Valentine's, and since there were 24 to do we started early and spread out the printing job over a few days so it wasn't too overwhelming for her. She wanted to use one of our punches and embellish her tags a little more with some hearts then we filled them with goodies!

We have a few allergies to work around in Wren's class so we thought it was best to just do sweet-gifts instead of sweets. The stickers, tattoos and playdough are all from Target and to do 24 bags was around $20. 

Her big school party can't come soon enough! She is dying to hand her little creations out.

Like,Want, Need: Heart Attack

Our latest Like, Want, Need come courtesy of Hearts! Not only is Valentine's Day around the corner but this whole year has been declared the year of love in our house in honor of  2/14 (2014). 

How sweet are these candles? The colors, the hearts, it is all too pretty!

How adorable are these craft kits my friend Amanda sells? She launched her new website last week and it is filled to the brim with pretty craft supplies, but these little kits in particular cover all the bases for spreading  love this Valentine's. She is one talented gal and she will definitely leave you inspired to make something this year.
