Now that 2010 has arrived I have some very exciting news that I have been longing to share since the summer! Launching on February 1, I will be the Home Editor for Domestic Ease. Covering topics from DIY to going green, every Monday I will have a new topic. But you can stop by any day of the week for wonderful recipes as well as tips and tricks to balancing home, work and family!

Well it's a good thing you'll be sharing with us how to balance family, work, life, motherhood, etc. because I don't know where you find the time to share your creativity in so many wonderful places!

Quick question. I know you posted recently about your paint colors all being mistints or custom creations of your own but as for the white in your home on the walls... what did you use? Since I can't paint in the garage due to it being so stinkin cold, while my projects sit and wait until Spring I figure I might as well start painting inside. Guest room or Jack's room to be exact. And white it will be. Just need to know if you used a base white, or had it tinted since yours look so great. Hopefully that's a quick answer for you to give... I'm anxious to run out and buy it tonight and styart tomorrow. :)
Also, do you store your paint inside the house to keep warm so you can paint through winter even in frigid temps? I'm anxious to work on some pieces I have but the dang cold makes the paint "runny". Thanks in advance for your tips/advice.

I'm really curious what kind of site this will be. I'm picturing something like the resourceful site that "The Nest" is.
Also, I really admire how much fun you seem to have doing what you love, while sharing it with us and taking care of your home, family, and pups. I'm almost afraid you're going to get so famouse you won't have time to do all that and keep up this super fun blog! But I pray you'll continue your trend of doing all of the above with such grace and find even more hapiness in the new things that come your way. Happy 2010 indeed :D
