Tonight I will be painting some chairs for various clients, as well as working on this really unique easal I picked up at the auction on Sunday. I think it is just so neat and will be perfect in a corner somewhere either holding a beautiful painting, or just as it is.
If I have some time I will try to work on this gorgeous antique mirrored table, also from the auction. I love the garland detail, as well as the stains and imperfections of the old mirror.
I am just dying to get this guy repainted! The crazy green paint and glazed finish really are hideous.
Is it kind of sad that I am already referring to this guy as my crown jewel? Everything about it is just perfect! From the woodwork, to the pullout leather writing desk it is just amazing.

Oh my gosh! I just did that exact same easel for a client. That is soooo weird! Loving the big cabinet, it does have some great detail!
I'm glad to hear things worked out with Jen! She is so excited!

Everything is gorgeous! Why doesn't Calgary have this stuff...
Is the mirrored table spoken for? If not, please let me know. (I'm looking for such a table that size & that one is amazing!)
Hugs to All - Jaime
Oh I love the wood. If it were me, I would just paint the interior because it is so stunning and aged!
Thank you so much Mary! Jen and her family and so wonderful and I look forward to working with them~
Jaime, it has not found a home so I will email you some pictures a soon as it is painted!

Can't wait to see what you do with them! You have such a talented hand! xo
ohhh I love that mirrored table! I have been trying to find really cool pieces like this for our wedding in September and think I may have found one last week but I have no clue how to refurbish it haha wish you lived near me girlfriend :)
You found some great items, can't wait to see what you do with them,
Thanks!!!
Can't wait to see the couch. And I saw a green table just like that one at my hot spot and passed it up even though it was only $10 bucks! Maybe I should go back and pick it up and see what magic I can work with it. then we can compare! ( although with you I would probably and most likely loose!!)
Ohhh, please share the leather desk! I have a desk that appears to have once had a leather top, but its gone. Replacing it will cost nearly double I paid for the desk so I haven't done it but I'd love to see yours.
Hey Holly...I luv your new couch! Can't wait to see it in your space! I love your blog and find it VERY inspirational!
I did want to let you know too that on my Mac (running Safari) your blog still makes my internet shut off.
I have to check your site from my work computer (PC).
Just wanted to make you aware!
Love the blog!

You really made out like a bandit at the auction - what fabulous finds! I can't wait to see them all transformed!
Holly you really scored at the Auction! Love love the easel, I bet it'll look so charming with a painting sitting on it. The mirrored table is such an amazing find, you must really scour your area with the amount of gems you find! Cant wait to see them after you get your paint claws on them!
