Originally it had some funky wood attachments on the front for handles. So we chipped those babies off.
Today it has a fresh coat of white paint, a touch of distressing and some ceramic anthropologie knobs. The design on the knobs are birds with crowns... perfect for any princess.
As always, the original castor feet are real gems~
Also going up on WhiteBerry will be this antique chair. It has 2 siblings who have already gone on to a new home (Hi Debbie!), but it would be perfect catch-all spot for a corner in the bedroom or kitchen. Besides missing one rung on the bottom left side it is in perfect condition, but I always love those quirky little defects!
The carvings on the top of the seat back are lovely~

I am still waiting on that sunny day... in fact it looks like Winter has made a brief (but most unwelcome!) return. So instead of snapping pictures this afternoon Wren and I have a date together at our favorite bakery and then a trip to Ikea to grab some window coverings for the master bedroom and scope out cabinetry for the laundry room.
Talk to you tomorrow friends!

Love what you did with the dresser! The new knobs suit it perfectly. I have to say, I've ignored pieces with similar handles before - but now I know the potential they have!
I am new to your site & just LOVE it...I love distressed furniture & finding...great finds! Can you share with me where you go for your furniture pieces? Yard sales, craigslist, dumpsters ;-)
Thanks!!
I absolutely L.O.V.E. that little dresser and those caster feet just make it feel so charming! I also love that new framed mirror on top of it. As always, stunning transformation. Have fun at Ikea, and be careful…that place can be dangerous! ;)
Love the dresser. Winter has returned to Regina as well today. Definitely not what I was hoping for :(
That little dresser is to die for!
Just lovely.

Just soooo pretty and girly. :) I have to second what Kacey said about the nobs - I've ignored the ones with funky handles, little knowing what I was missing. Thanks for showing us how!!!
That dresser is great! Thanks to your site, when I go into home improvement stores I check out the mistints. The other day there were 7 or 8 off-whites?! And I go through craigslist and see furniture I wish you would refinish! :-)
