This year I am aiming to document a little more of our day to day lives. The raw, real moments that make up who I am. It is always nice to look back on posts like this later on, but my main goal is to also share with you more of who I am. I know we've been chatting together for over 4 years now, but I also know that I tend to keep a lot private. Not because I don't want to share, mainly because it seems pretty mundane. But I also think there is a beauty in day to day moments.
Instead of writing out lengthy, novel-length posts about what makes me tick I feel like a handful of snap shots every few weeks will speak a million words more than I could ever muster. And hopefully you will feel like you 'know' us a little better. In case I haven't mentioned it before, I am actually not much a of writer. So this is my way of 'journaling'.
[watching a light dusting of snow fall while I do dishes]
[a mid morning snack on the weekend, and mis-buttoned jammies]
[Sean's latest project. He plays with cars like I play with houses]
[I suspect he will be out here a lot for the next few weeks]
[ lazy day! sometimes our bed feels cozier unmade]
[I got a little out of control with the milk frother when I refilled my cup one afternoon]
[Wren got us dancing up a storm in the living room while she shined her flashlight on the disco ball]
[Saturday morning cartoons!]

nice post...moments are precious...string them all together and you make a life...
I have always loved your blog and your house-love all the small moments as they really do show who we are xx
I love your blog...I love the simplicity. The beauty of life through your touching pictures. I feel like I know you and Wren and if we ran into each other at the grocery store I would ask you about things labou hoe Cottage K is coming together and that I'm hoping you get a buyer soon. I'd inquire your tomato allergy! I wouldn't ask you if your are having more kids because I'd know the answer (probably not but it's not totally closed off -right? Lol!). I know you're a beautiful person and I enjoy seeing it in your posts! We are about to build a house (here in Atlanta, GA, USA) and I will be referring to your blog for ideas, especially your kitchen! Blessings!
I recognize that truck. What a small, small world! I've been following your blog for years now, love your style, even asked for your advice on a rocking chair for my girl and now your hubby has bought my husband's dream restoration. He has been moping about ever since it drove away two weeks ago. Oh the seller's remorse! Wishing you a much faster repair time than it was experiencing in our garage.
I loved these little peeks into your lovely life.
You take such beautiful pictures Holly and capture little heart warming moments!
xoxo
