A few weeks back Sean and I scooped this side table up at an auction, hoping that maybe we could find a spot for it around the house. I knew it was love at first sight for 2 reasons, the lovely french lines, and the beautiful marble surface. Of course, once it was painted and came inside I realized that we are already full to the rafters with furniture (at least until the upstairs office is finished). But I am holding out hope that if we rearrange the sectional in the family room to another wall it might make just enough space.
But until then it will go up on WhiteBerry because maybe someone out there will love it as much or more than me.
We see nearly identical pieces every month or two, but they usually have homes lined up before the first coat of primer goes on. So this is only the second one to actually make it on here and WhiteBerry.
It has a fabulous new home with a design client I am currently working with, and I know it will be cherished.
Au revoir for now mes amis!

Hi! Just wanted to let you know a wonderful person (Pam @ BeColoful) honored me with a Stylish Blogger Award. As part of this award I had to link back to her, come up with 7 interesting facts about myself and then pass it on to 10 other deserving people, you, are one of those people.
Now, it’s your turn. I chose you because I really find your blog creative and interesting! I hope you’ll link back to me so that I can read all about you! You can grab/copy the “award” from my page http:// the decorativepaintbrush.blogspot.com (that’s what I had to do, apparently there’s no “button”) and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me! Congrats!
Love it Holly! Very pretty!Hugs,Rachel

I think I could love that table as much! (Love that pretty marble, especially!) But I'm not meant to bring it way down here, right now anyway. So do enjoy it! But I must say I really admire your ability to seemingly part so easily with a lot of the beauty you create, though I'm sure those you share it with appreciate you for it! (did you write a guest blog about how to let go of stuff like that once? Maybe I'll try to find & read it again)
PS- the new 'Holly' signature is cute, and I like how you displayed the starfish :)
Holly, I just love the legs and marble top on that side table...That marble is so shabby chic'esque:) lol! Great find!

Hi!
I just love all your work and your beautiful home!! Your design inspires me to re-do my home!! I was wondering where you get your card pulls/ library pulls/ labeled pulls that I see on some of your furniture. I havent been able to find much on the web. You can email me at rachaelstraub14@gmail.com, thanks!!

What a beauty! I love seeing all the pieces you transform and wish that I didn't live so far away!
Holly i am obsessed with dressers that style. in fact, the one you have in your master (i know, i won't shut up about the master bedroom, haha) has had me in love since you first posted about it. in fact, i just posted jack's bachelor pad makeover and a similar dresser is now his. and, i have those brockhampton pulls and knobs waiting for the same style dresser to be found for OUR master.
love it. wish i was close enough to buy it. :(
p.s. please do check out Jack's big boy room when ya have a moment.
I like it!
Loving the marble top! Did you hand paint it or just cover it up then spray paint?
Love the table. Wish I wasn't on the east coast cause I really want it. Love your work.
