While out and about looking for a Mother's Day gift last week I saw this display at one of my favorite stores:
Don't you just love how fun and Spring-y it all is?? As soon as I saw it I knew that it would be the perfect inspiration for our Mother's Day brunch. The tree branch was my favorite part so of course we had to make one, and the best part? It cost us a whole $9.44!!!
I started by trimming a branch off a tree in our back yard that we have been planning on chopping anyways and put it in a cast iron urn we had in the garage, filling it with rocks to keep it sturdy. I would not recommend doing it with planters or urns not made of cast iron because you really need that weight!
All the other materials we needed were a glue gun and 2 strands of silk cherry blossoms.

I just love what you did with the tree branch, I have been wanting to do something like that for an easter tree--will have to try this out next year!! Would you mind telling me where you got the half table shown in these pics?? I have been looking for one, but havgen't spotted the perfect "one" yet..
Thanks Katie!
The demi-lune table if from Home Goods, we bought it about 3 years ago~
Love this!! It's sort of like what I had to do to get bare tree branches as centerpieces & decor at my wedding. It looks great! :)
