We ripped out all of the carpet and moulding almost immediately after moving in. We then laid new hardwood floors (espresso stained Birch), installed wainscotting and new trim, as well as new electrical outlets, switches and a chandelier.

This is beautiful! My husband and I are doing our nursery right now, and I love so many of the touches you added. Do you mind sharing where the crib came from? I love how simply and vintage it looks... those big chunky cribs that I see all over are def. not for me.
Thanks!
Kristin
I love it! I also love white! May I ask where the awesome white chair came from? Is it a glider? I love it! I am slowly but surely putting all of the pieces together for our baby girl's nursery. (Due in September)
Hi Jess, it is actually from Ikea from about 2 years ago. It was being discounted so we scooped it up for a song at only $120! But definitely check them out because the Ektorp line is very similar. Congratulations on your new addition!
I absolutely LOVE how you put all this together and the Martha STEWART poms are sooo neat!

Must ask... did you use a special paint since the furniture was to be used in a baby's room? It turned out beautiful!
What a lovely nursery! May I ask what flooring you used? We're in the process of redoing our own living, and love this look! Well done!
LOVE the flooring + overall nursery! Great job. Where did you find that dainty little nightstand beside the chair? Its so sweet + perfect for a little girl.
beautiful!!
Just recently found your blog and love it! Believe it or not, I actually saw those same enamel numbers that you placed on the chest of drawers, on a project somewhere else last month and googled and researched everywhere to find them, only to fail. Would you be willing to pass along where you found them? I'd be so appreciative!
Blessings,
Sasha
