My love of beach/sea side decor is never ending. I don't like 'theme' decorating, but just a few hints of naval fabulousness makes me feel like I'm on cloud nine. My long time blog friend, Katie, is one of those amazingly talented ladies who has taken her passion and talents, merged them together to form Etsy shop SaSea Decor and the results are beautifully simple pillows that girls like me dream about.

ReplyDeleteMy heart skipped a beat when I saw the whale pillow - my grandmother collected all things whale ever since I can remember. When she passed away, each member of our family took a whale "something" of hers so her memory and love for whales would live on! So the Navy Whale is an obvious choice for me, and the gorgeous Slate Stripe on Cream to match!

My husband is from New Brunswick, I am from British Columbia, and we spent years together in Nova Scotia, so we have a huge connection to the sea...but we are being shipped off to Manitoba this fall for his job, so we could use the nautical reminders!

My husband is from NB and I'm from BC, and we lived together in Halifax, NS for about 7 years before moving to Alberta...we desperately miss the ocean, it is in our blood! In two months we become even more land-locked when we move to Manitoba...I'd love to have a couple of these pillows to remind us (and our 1-year-old twin girls!) of the sea that we all love so much!
