Yup, it's that time again! We have more wonderful submissions this week, and keep them coming guys! I always appreciate the time and effort you take in emailing me so thanks a ton!!!
On a little side note, I have been getting a large volume of emails from readers regarding paint, materials, etc. so I just wanted to remind old readers and introduce new readers to the Frequently Asked Questions section. It it right along the top menu bar for your convenience. I feel bad but I just simply don't have the time to respond to everyone so please accept my apologies if you haven't seen a response.
Now on to the fun stuff!
Sarah was given this adorable little table and chair set. She wanted to make it fun, yet able to fit in anywhere in her home and I think she definitely accomplished that. What a fun place to play!
Andie did a wonderful job transforming this old vanity into a sweet spot to do her little one's hair! I love the striped walls too!!
Emma inherited this old wardrobe when she purchased her home and brought it back to life with a fresh coat of grey paint and some beautiful crystal knobs! Pink and grey is such a beautiful combo, we love it!
Rebecca transformed this old cabinet into a perfect entertainment center! Mirrored glass doors are particularly important if you want to actually use your remotes, so this is one great find! Love the outcome Rebecca!
The lovely Londen painted up this dresser that her hubby found for FREE (seriously, why do I never find free stuff this pretty???). It was missing a drawer, but that didn't stop her from finding a wicker basket at Ikea and popping it in there for a fabulous finished dresser. Hold on to this cutie Londen!!
The next 2 transformations are the work of Mai-Britt. She has shared some gorgeous projects previously with us and I am definitely blown away by her work again! Crack glass did not stop her from seeing the potential with this old cabinet. She painted it white and then added linen to the shelves and a fabulous nautical fabric to the back for extra interest. And of course her ottoman is impressive because I could never upholster, specially with stripes, something that well. LOVELY work Mai-Britt!!
Sarah picked up this neat old cart at a garage sale. She added some glossy red paint and a touch of unexpected color with some decoupaged paper in the bottom inserts. What a wonderful project, specially because it is such an unexpected piece. You definitely have a good eye to see potential in that one Sarah!!
Elizabeth picked up these chairs for under $6 each, added some inexpensive fabric she found at Joann's and now they are perfectly pretty! The bird pattern is just darling (I happen to be a little partial to bird items though~).
Jen scored this jewellery chest on craigslist recently, and while she debated over what color to paint it I am so happy she settled on a happy, cheerful yellow! The pop of yellow with the black and white is so eye catching and really adds a fun touch to her bathroom.
Rosa shared these 2 transformations with me and I immediately fell in love, particularly with the mirror. You have probably seen one or two in various pictures here, but I actually have a pretty embarrassing number of them just sitting in the basement. So thanks for helping me get inspired Rosa!!! I particularly love the pop or turquoise on the ribbon.
Natalie did a beautiful job taking this old chair and making it whimsical! I love the colors Natalie! Since it's makeover it has become a prop for Natalie, who is a professional photographer, and you have to head over to her site and see the hilarious outcome of the chairs first shoot.
Kacey took this old bedroom suite and made it pretty in pink. I could see endless possibilities for a little girl's room with these cuties!
Shelley completely updated this studio apartment for $100!!! Crazy!! I can't believe the transformation. The paper and cork wreath is genius! Thanks for sharing Shelley~
