Amongst all our projects, these two nightstands sat neglected in the corner... from start to finish, in bits and pieces, this poor duo took almost a month to complete. Not because they were challenging, but because everytime I tried to get to them something kept popping up!

But now they are inside and look like new~

They are night stands of course, but I think they add a nice weight to the room as end tables!

The detailing is really spectacular and romantic, so I went with pink crystal Anthro knobs.

As usual, they will be looking for a new home on WhiteBerry!

Have a great weekend!!
They are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteoh my!!! if you hadn't posted the "before" pic, one would never have guessed how sad these looked before you painted them.
ReplyDeletethis just goes to show that there IS hope for the yucky thrift store pieces. :)
Fabulous! I think they're perfectly suited to be end tables.
ReplyDeleteLove them! It's so nice that your hubs lets you decorate inside the house with pink crystal knobs. :)
ReplyDeleteJust like all your furniture projects, these nightstands are just gorgeous!

These are gorgeous! I wish I lived in Canada so I could buy them!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the detail and the hardware!
ReplyDeleteI'm so amazed at how you see the potential in pieces I would probably not give a second look. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those posts where I am again delightfully annoyed at how good you can make anything look :) Seriously, I wouldn't have looked twice at those babies before hand, but after...I'm swooning. You are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThese nightstands are fantastic! I love the transformation. The pink knobs are so perfect for them.

ReplyDeleteIt KILLS me to see so, so many great pieces that I CAN'T have. :( I would love that piece for Addy's room! It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove those nightstands! Wish I lived closer as they would be perfect in a bedroom at our cabin.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful talent of taking an ugly duckling and turning it into a beautiful swan. Not many people would have seen the potential in those dark dated pieces. They look lovely now, and the detail stands out so well.
ReplyDeleteAs we approach Earth Day, I want to thank you for saving all those pieces from our landfills and giving them loving homes, and for quite possibly encouraging others to do the same.
I love them!
ReplyDeleteThose are darling! I love them!
ReplyDeleteIt is just amazing how white paint can tranform something from ughhh to beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI never saw pink knobs before...going to have to go check those out!
Gorgeous!!

I read every day, but I don't often comment. These are some of my favorite pieces to date! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteOk, that one surprised me. When I saw the bofore, I thought "NO WAY" those are too awful. But the transformation is stunning. That raised detail looks beautiful whereas before it was tacky. Do did a lovely job!
ReplyDeleteTalk about diamond in the rough. Those turned out just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say that these are among my favourite pieces! I also love how you have the tulips flopping over. I always put a penny in my vause to keep them standing up...but I am loving what you have going on here!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm coming out on May 14th for Becky's birthday...we should all go for dinner or something.
Xox

ReplyDeleteOMG Holly i am so jealous- i just about bought those and not sure why i left GW without them but now that i see how gorgeous they turned out i'm glad you snapped them up. I almost told K that we had to buy them but i think we are going to wait and see those dressers first. I think those are meant for a little girls room - i'm surprised Wren hasnt adopted them :)

You have completely inspired me. How wonderful these look! I have been putting off painting my kitchen cabinets for well... 2 years now... and I've decided that project will be next - right after the roof repair and the master bedroom leak repair... There's always something!
