Upholstery sneak peek!

We are almost ready to unveil the first couple upholstery reinventions!!!!! Just have to get the cushions and slipcovers finished and picked up from the seamstress. But because I am too impatient, and hate to keep you waiting forever I want to introduce you to my first beauty.

I was immediately drawn to the cane arms. TONS of potential!

Until I have it all ready for the big unveil next week here are a few snippets of what it's transformation has been like.

Dove grey paint + tons of distressing + white linen upholstery=perfection

I decided to get rid of the tufting on the back of the seat and instead went with a plush, overstuft look.

Can't wait to share more with you guys!

  1. I excited to see the finished product. I picked up a pair of similar chairs and can't decide what to do with them.

  14. I have a feeling I'm going to totally regret not buying that exact chair that I saw at a garage sale yesterday for $25 but didn't know if that was a good price! Can't wait to see what you've done with it, never thought about painting the caneing, just thought about slipcovering it.

  20. I love this chair and I want to do one of my own. I found a wing back chair yesterday but opted against the 45 dollar price tag because of the cost of upholstery. How much do you think it would cost to get it upholstered?

    Thanks! Kim
